News:
Hello all! As you already know, we are currently out of school until April 24th to be sure everyone stays healthy and safe. During this time, I'll be providing you with daily activities and games to practice past math & social studies skills we've learned in class. These activities can be done on your own, with your friends, or with your family. Remember: There are no online learning requirements at this time. There will be no requirement to complete these assignments or any form of online attendance. Each week, the weebly will be updated with new, short lessons for to enjoy at home. If you have any questions or want to reach out, you can always email me at [email protected]. :) Fortunately for math, we only have 5 standards that we need to cover before the end of the year. We will wrap those standards up when returning to school. For social studies, new material will be uploaded through PowerPoint and textbook scans. This will ensure we have time to finish all standards by the end of May. Enrichment: IXL: Don't forget that you can be accessing practice for ALL subjects on ixl.com! Your login information is the same as your computer login at school. You can play games, practice skills in all 4 subjects, or do daily challenges. Prodigy For anyone who likes video games or online gaming with friends, this math based website will be your new favorite way to practice math (without worksheets :) ). Go to prodigygame.com and create an account. To join my class, use the code: 997B3D. You will take a short placement test so that the math questions you get will be based on your level. Otherwise, you can play online and connect with friends. www.prodigygame.com Online Florida Virtual Learning MNPS is providing students with many virtual learning online activities, including this link to an online course. Students will first need to login to their clever or MNPS account before being able to access all courses. All core subjects are offered in addition to physical fitness, art, and more! www.mnps.org/digital-courses-for-students |
